Works great, so far, but I have only used it twice. I will let you know more is six months.

Love my new cooktop. It is easy to keep clean and to control the burner heat.

I picked this cooktop because of the simple, two-part grill set. However, the location of the knobs at the front of the cooktop limits the use of pans and pots on the front two burners: there is just not enough space. My second criticism is that the "low" position for the back burners is not low at all - it is still very hot.

Looks nice!

I've never seen such cheap grade stainless steel! It has a nice mill finish, but it is not hardened and scratches and abrades and stains really easy. Yes, stainless steel can stain. As they try to reduce the standard cost, but increase the retail price, you get cheaper grade stainless steel. I'm an Engineer, btw. I would avoid these stainless steel products. They may look nice for a short time, but as soon as you get a nice scratch, stain, or abrasion mark on the finish, it can never look new again. I'm giving this one star for quality and price and really heavy grates, hence the need for the hinged grate model. Performance, yeah, it cooks like all the rest.
